Local councillors should be ordinary everyday people who care about their community and NOT POLITICIANS who once elected surrender their integrity and just follow the party whip.
We at Integrity UK can never have a party whip because it is written into our constitution that we cannot. This is because we believe that every elected official should be free to vote for what is best for their electorate.
Integrity UK believe local government should be run by local people for the local people, and party politics should have no place whatsoever in local government.
